Join fellow citizens to dialogue with policy-makers and leading experts on the crisis of human trafficking and modern day slavery.  What does the problem look like in Ohio and internationally? What can we do to stop it?

U.S. Congressman Patrick Tiberi (R-12th), Keynote Speaker

Congressman Pat Tiberi is serving his fifth consecutive term representing Ohio’s 12th District.  During the 110th Congress, he was named to the Ways and Means Committee that oversees issues like taxes, Social Security, Medicare, trade and healthcare.

Before coming to the U.S. House of Representatives, Congressman Tiberi served in the Ohio House of Representatives (1993-2000) where he rose to the position of Majority Leader. Prior to his election to the Ohio House, Congressman Tiberi served for eight years as an assistant to Congressman John Kasich. He also worked as a realtor with ReMax Achievers in Westerville.

A life-long resident of Ohio’s 12th District, the 46 year-old is the son of Italian immigrants. He attended Northland High School in Columbus and is the first in his family to graduate from college. Congressman Tiberi received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism in 1985 from The Ohio State University where he proudly played the trumpet in the OSU Marching Band.
